From the basement to the top floor
Through five weeks the Sports Gambling Podcast was down 123.09 units, last on the board by a long way. Then Sean Green built a five-rung ladder on Jahan Dotson, who caught three passes. Those three went for 87 yards, and every rung from 40+ to 80+ cashed for +37.33 units. Ryan Kramer added a Malik Nabers ladder that hit all four rungs on a 165-yard day. You don't need a lot of catches. You need the right three.
The SGP finished Sunday +42.69, best of the week. Sharp or Square posted its first winning week of the season. Everybody else finished down. All of it is through Sunday. Monday night is still to play, 14 plays are on hold, and Tuesday's follow-up will settle them.

The $10 Tailer
Here's what $10 on every named pick from each show returned through Sunday.
| Sports Gambling Podcast |
+$426.90 |
| Sharp or Square |
+$74.70 |
| Action Network |
-$23.60 |
| Even Money |
-$26.50 |
| Brandon's Playground |
-$93.50 |
| Anytime TD Show |
-$99.50 |
Season to date, Brandon's Playground has turned $10 a pick into +$327.80 and is still the only show in the black. The SGP's big week trimmed its season to -$804.00, which is progress if you squint.
Tail all six shows this week and you'd be up $258.50. Tail everyone except the SGP and you'd be down $168.40. The show everybody would have skipped was the only one worth tailing.

The Fade Report
Thirteen times through Sunday, two or more shows landed on the same position. Those pile-ons went 25-18 for +4.75 units. Fading every one at -110 would have gone 18-25 and lost 8.62 units.
The worst was the Rams at -12.5 and -12, with four shows on it. Los Angeles closed as a 13.5-point favorite and lost to Arizona outright, 18-16. That's 0-4. The best was the Raiders at +6, +5.5 and +4.5. Four shows went 7-0 after Kirk Cousins hit Tre Tucker for 50 yards late in a 33-30 loss that covered anyway.
Season to date, the consensus is 135-140-4 for -17.40 units. Fading all of it is 140-135-4 for -7.60. The crowd is losing, and so is betting against the crowd. Nobody said this would be easy.

Week 6 Awards
Based on Thursday and Sunday. Monday night can still change things, and Tuesday will tell you if it did.
|
Hot Mic goes to Sean Green (Sports Gambling Podcast)
He went 11-8 for +35.08 units. The Dotson ladder alone was +37.33, which means the other 14 picks lost money and nobody will ever remember them. That's how ladders work when they work.
|
| |
|
Cold Mic goes to Brandon (Brandon's Playground)
He went 6-19 for -10.99 units. Five of those losses were Christian Watson tickets on Sunday night, from an anytime touchdown to a Watson and Golden 100-yard parlay, and Green Bay won 23-13 without any of them landing. His Bryce Young ladder cashed through 275+ on 281 yards, and he's still the top individual host on the season at +32.31. He can afford one Sunday night.

|
Bonehead Read of the Week goes to Simon (Sharp or Square)
Simon laid 12.5 with the Rams at home against Arizona. The Rams lost 18-16. The co-host sitting across from him had the Cardinals at +12.5 and +13.5, cashed both, and went 6-1 for the week. Same show, same game, same week. One of them got the upset and the other got the homework.
|
| |
|
Ladder of the Week goes to Ryan Kramer (Sports Gambling Podcast)
Malik Nabers went for 165 yards, and Kramer's ladder hit 100+, 110+, 125+ and 150+ for +22.40 units. His three Locks, meanwhile, went 0-3. He finished 5-15 and still made 8.59 units. The ladder did the locking.
|
| |
|
Bad Beat of the Week goes to Stuckey (Action Network)
He took the Bucs at +2.5 and said on air he'd be on Tampa no matter what. Tampa led Pittsburgh 16-3 after three quarters. The Steelers scored 16 in the fourth, then won 26-19 in overtime. The same game took down Brandon and Matt's contest pick and Even Money's Bucs +3. Stuckey still finished 4-3. The Bucs did not.
|
| |
|
Splash Down goes to Fezzik (Even Money)
His four Splash picks were all +1.5, the Falcons, Eagles, Giants and Cowboys. All four lost, by 8, 11, 7 and 10. The hook never came into it. Across the table, Ross went 5-1 for +3.22.
|
|
Survivor Graveyard
Here lie the Colts picks of Chad and Simon. Indianapolis led Tennessee 13-0 at halftime and closed as a 6.5-point home favorite. The Titans scored 20 points in the fourth quarter and won 26-20. Two hosts, one team, one funeral. At least nobody has to ask whose idea it was.
|
The Honest Corner
One big week doesn't change much. Six weeks in, only one show's Skill rating leans either way, and it's Sharp or Square, leaning below the price even after its best week. Everyone else is within noise. The SGP's no-edge range over 409 picks runs from -169.46 to +169.58 units, so even a 42-unit Sunday barely moves the needle. Brandon's +32.78 sits inside its range of -55.63 to +55.71 too.
|
|
Tonight's Sweat
Eleven hosts from all six shows have 14 plays riding on Monday night. Four shows are on the same team, and both Sharp or Square hosts are on the other one, with Simon telling listeners to get it while they still can. Sean Green is 2-0 on his Locks so far and his third one is tonight, and Even Money has four teasers on the game, enough to turn its week green if they all land. Hear the cases on Action Network, Sharp or Square and the Sports Gambling Podcast, because somebody is getting a very smug Tuesday.
