Week 5 Monday Night
|
The outnumbered side won
Yesterday we told you the Monday night bets didn't agree. Both Action Network hosts and Brandon's contest pick went with the Rams, and Fezzik leaned that way too. Sean Green and Ross took the Bills. It was 34-34 after regulation, Buffalo won 37-34 in overtime, and every Rams side on the board lost outright. Fezzik's lean lost too, but leans don't count, which is the best perk in podcasting.

Monday Night Scoreboard
Twenty-six plays from five shows went 4-22 for -17.77 units. At $10 a pick, the night cost $177.70.

Sports Gambling Podcast 2-14, -11.52 units |

Ross had the Bills leg in four teasers. It covered all four. Three of those tickets had already died on Sunday, but the Browns and Bills ticket cashed, and Ross finally has a win this week. Brandon got paid too, on a Josh Allen fourth quarter sneak for his anytime touchdown at -105.
The Sports Gambling Podcast fired 16 shots. Sean Green's Bills moneyline at +140 and Ryan Kramer's Davante Adams over 4.5 catches hit. Adams also scored the first touchdown, which nobody had. And Matthew Stafford did not log a single rushing yard, which was a problem for the four Kramer tickets that needed him to.
The Anytime TD Show ran the group ticket back at about 70 to 1. Lightning did not strike twice. Sharp or Square had no live play on Monday night and enjoyed the game like normal people.

Monday night didn't change the order. It just shaved everybody. Action Network went into the night $24.70 up and came out $4.70 up, still green by about the price of a sandwich. Tail all six shows and you'd be down $326.00 for the week. Tail everyone except the TD Show and you'd be down $637.00.

Awards Update
|
Hot Mic now goes to Gallant, Koerner and Neiffer (Anytime TD Show)
Through Sunday their joint row had two plays, one short of the Hot Mic minimum. Monday's run-back lost, gave the row its third play and left it 1-2 for +31.00 units. Neiffer, Sunday's winner, now sits at 5-5 for +8.00. He hands the trophy to himself and two friends. A losing ticket has never been this useful.
|
Everything else stands. Cold Mic stays with Ryan Kramer, now 6-25 for -19.26 after a 1-6 Monday. Bonehead Read stays with Even Money's Cowboys teasers, even with Ross's Monday cash, and the rotating awards hold.

Week 5 is final at -32.60 units. Every graded pick, Monday night included, is on the Week 5 page. Friday's issue brings the weekend listening guide.
