Everybody had Atlanta. Almost.

Thursday night was not a close vote. Stuckey and Doug both took the Falcons +5.5. Simon took them at +7 and called Atlanta his biggest bet of the week. Fezzik took Falcons +5.5, and then, because one ticket felt lonely, bet Atlanta plus a half point in all four quarters separately.

Sports Gambling Podcast skipped the side and fired off 17 props, including both hosts on Jonnu Smith to score twice at +10000. The lone holdout in the whole room was Brandon, sitting on Packers -5.5 he locked in as a look-ahead back in Week 2.

You already know how it ended. We grade it Tuesday. In the meantime, here's what to put on for the weekend.

Corrections Desk

We owed Brandon one. Tuesday's issue had Brandon's Playground at +$639.10 on the season at $10 a pick. The real number is +$734.10. Brandon caught a Week 1 stack we had graded as a loss, the Willis game over, rush yards and rush TD at +850. All three legs hit. It's fixed, the Playground is now +73.41 units on the season, and Brandon alone is +73.86. Thanks for keeping us honest, Brandon.

Five became six. Sports Gambling Podcast joined the tracker this week and we backfilled Weeks 1 and 2. That moves Tuesday's math. Tailing every show in Week 2 was +$352.90 across five shows. Across all six it's +$63.70. Every figure on the site now includes Sean and Kramer.

The Listening Guide

Action Network. Doug announced he hates the side card this week and loves the totals, so most of the arguing happens over overs and unders, and he and Stuckey do not agree on several of them. Stuckey also delivers a full filibuster on one game he clearly cannot stop thinking about. It's a commitment. Listen

Sharp or Square. Two episodes, both worth it. Tuesday walks all 16 games, and Thursday narrows it with Brass Balls, the moneyline round robins and the Sharp vs Square head to head. Even Money. Fezzik's power ratings disagree with the market more than once this week, and he is perfectly happy standing on that island alone. Ross talks himself up and down on teaser sizing until Fezzik tells him not to be gun shy. Thursday adds Dr. David Chao on the injury report, which is worth the download by itself. Brandon's Playground. The new episode is on the way. Brandon walks in as the top host on the tracker at +73.86 units, and the Playground's ladders are 10-19 for +66.3. That's a losing record that pays like a winning one. We'll send you there the minute it drops.

Anytime TD Show. Week 2 was a grind at 4-25, and the show is still +4.43 units on the season, which tells you how Week 1 went. Gallant leads the crew at +11.5. Their Week 3 episode is coming, and so are the plus-money scorers.

Sports Gambling Podcast. Welcome to the tracker, Sean and Kramer. Their Thursday night props show brought in guest Scott Reichel and a first TD card from every host. Ladders lose about two times out of three and are still the only bet type seriously in the black. That's $628.30 at $10 a rung. Nearly all of it belongs to one man. Brandon's Playground ladders are 10-19 for +66.3 units, with Kramer's 7-5 run the other bright spot.

Sides, the bread and butter of every show, sit at 47-52. Totals are 9-12. Parlays and teasers are 9-43, which works out to about one cash in every six tickets. Nobody said the fun ones were the smart ones.

The takeaway is that a show's unit total says as much about its menu as its skill. A long-shot card lives and dies by one big hit. A sides card grinds. Both are fun to listen to.
