PodPicksTrackerPrivacy Policy
Effective September 24, 2026. The short version: we collect as little as we can, we use it only to run this site and its newsletter, and we never sell it.
What we collect
Only what you give us, plus a little to keep out bots.
- Newsletter signup. Your email address, the page you signed up on, when you signed up and when you agreed to this policy and the Terms.
- Contact form. Whatever you type into it, including your name and email address if you give them.
- Abuse prevention. With a signup or a message we keep a one-way hash of your IP address (not the address itself) and your browser’s user agent, so we can limit repeated submissions.
- Visits. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It sets no cookies and does not track you across other sites.
- Your browser. The site remembers your light or dark theme choice and whether you closed or used the newsletter pop-up. That stays in your own browser and is never sent to us.
How we use it
To send what you asked for, and nothing else.
- To send you the PodPicksTracker newsletter you signed up for.
- To read and answer messages sent through the contact form.
- To stop spam and repeated automated signups.
No spam, and we won’t sell your data. We do not rent, trade or share your email address with advertisers, sportsbooks or anyone else for their marketing.
Who handles it for us
A few service providers that run the site, bound to use it only for that.
- Resend delivers our emails.
- Railway hosts the site and Neon hosts its database.
- Cloudflare provides the cookieless visit counts described above.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Until you leave, or until you ask us to remove it.
When you unsubscribe we stop emailing you straight away and keep a record that the address unsubscribed, so it is never mailed by mistake. You can ask us to delete that record and anything else we hold about you at any time.
Your choices
Leaving takes one click.
- Every email has an unsubscribe link. One click takes you off the list, no questions asked.
- To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, send a request through the contact form from or naming the address concerned.
Age
This site is for adults.
The site and newsletter are meant for people 21 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you think someone under 21 has signed up, tell us and we will remove them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
For a change that matters, such as a new use of your email address, we will say so in the newsletter before it takes effect. Questions about this policy go through the contact form.
